ADULT INVOLVEMENT

Not everyone who wants to teach cadets has to enroll in the Canadian Armed Forces. Civilian Members complement the knowledge and skill set of the Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC).

Adults that desire to get involved can:
  • Join the League or the Sponsoring Committee. They work closely with the squadron staff to help support Cadets and their activities.
  • Become a Civilian Volunteer (CV). Let the Commanding Officer know if you have any special skills. People with experience in first aid, rock-climbing, sailing or flying are not always easy to find.
  • Become a Civilian Instructor (CI). CIs are paid civilians who work at squadrons and often fill vacant officer positions.
CIVILIAN VOLUNTEER (CV)
CIVILIAN INSTRUCTOR (CI)
Civilian Instructors are required to undergo much the same screening as CIC Officers

For more information on volunteering with our squadron, feel free to Contact Us.
