The following table shows the MINIMUM Proficiency Level requirements for Air Cadet Summer Training Courses

AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Glider Pilot Scholarship (GPS):
Must be 16 years old by 1 September of the year of the course.
Power Pilot Scholarship (PPS):
Must be 17 years old by 1 September of the year of the course.
International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE):
Must be 17 years old by 1 August of the year of the course.
Staff Cadet:
Must be 16 years old by 1 January of the year of the course.
Must be 16 years old by 1 September of the year of the course.
Power Pilot Scholarship (PPS):
Must be 17 years old by 1 September of the year of the course.
International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE):
Must be 17 years old by 1 August of the year of the course.
Staff Cadet:
Must be 16 years old by 1 January of the year of the course.
