TYING & LACING

PARADE BOOT LACING

STRAIGHT ACROSS METHOD

Boots shall be laced across horizontally from side to side with no visible under-laces except at the top.

NECK TIE

Neck Tie shall be knotted neatly using a Windsor or Four-In-Hand knot and shall be kept tight.

Plain gold colour tie clips or pins may be used.

LANYARD

  1. Pass the lanyard under the left epaulette and under the arm
  2. Thread the cord through the eyelet and tighten under the arm
  3. Loop the loose cord around the left breast pocket button, and fasten the button. The cords should then be pinched to keep them close to one another
