Just a reminder that there is no band practice this weekend.
This Friday, Exertion Team will practice 1630 hrs -1830 hrs and Drill Team will practice 1830 hrs - 2030 hrs. This evening will run as per normal. A few things to note:
Practices this Fri 26 Feb 16
Exertion 1630 hrs - 1830 hrs (4:30 PM - 6:30 PM). Drill 1830 hrs - 2030 hrs (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM). Spring Tag Day Tag day will be happening on Sat 05 Mar 16 0900 hrs - 1300 hrs, 1400 hrs - 1800 hrs and Sun 06 Mar 16 1200 hrs - 1600 hrs. Those who participate all day Saturday will be provided lunch. It is expected that EVERY cadet will participate in all three shifts unless they have been excused by the Commanding Officer. Airbus Familiarization Flight A Cadet Familiarization Flight has been scheduled for Tue 15 Mar 16 at 8 Wing Trenton. The flight will be on one of the 437 Sqn Airbus. Tentative timings will be as follows: 1030 hrs arrival at the AMU and 1200 hrs take-off time for a 2-hr familiarization flight. Following the flight, a tour of other aircraft (C-130J, C-17) may be provided if squadrons are interested. We are only entitled to have 23 cadets attend. A sign-up sheet has been posted on the white-board. The cadets selected will be chosen by rank, expected attendance for Spring Tag Day, and CO's priority. CFB Trenton Tour A tour of CFB Trenton has been tentatively set up for Sat 09 Apr 16. Sign-up sheet has been posted on the whiteboard. More info to follow closer to date. Just a reminder that the ski day at Batawa is from 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Cadets are responsible for their own rides, lunch, and are free to leave before 4:00 PM if they wish.
