HAPPY 145TH BIRTHDAY CANADA!!! We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!
Some cadets will be starting their courses this week (Staff Cadets, 6 week & 7 Week Course Cadets) So, enjoy yourselves, behave, and represent 608 well! we'll see you in September!! We would just like to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!
We would just like to say farewell to Warrant Officer 2nd Class (WO2) Kayla Robinson who aged out on our final night (Wednesday 13 June 2012). The cadets enjoyed a nice doughnut treat as a farewell gift.
We would also like to say farewell to Acting-Warrant Officer 2nd Class (A/WO2) Jason Campaigne who also retired on our final night. WO2 Robinson and A/WO2 Campaigne, We will miss you! Thank you for your service! Thank you to every one for a fantastic year! Please be safe wherever your holiday may take you, weather you are at summer training or with your family! Either way, have fun!
See you in September! Wednesday 13 June is our final night for the training year. We will be having a Squadron BBQ!
The BBQ will take place at the Armouries from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. For many cadets, they will be going off to Summer Training Centres for summer courses. Cadets will gain new experiences, friendships, and memories they will never forget. For those Cadets who will not be attending Summer Training, the summer holidays will hopefully be full of excitement. Wherever your holiday may take you, please be safe and responsible as we all want to see you back after the holidays! For those Cadets going to Summer Training, you and your parents are invited to join us after the BBQ for a Summer Training meeting at 7:30 to answer any questions you or your Cadet(s) may have. Also, any Cadets who require kit for Summer Training should pick it up at this time (this is the only time). |
