Elevate Aviation (a private company from Edmonton, AB) has received funding from Status of Women Canada to conduct research in support of creating economic security for women through careers in aviation. They have reached out to the Natl CJCR Sp Gp to collaborate in this research – primarily through informing and engaging Air Cadets to participate. It is the aim of this Formation and Elevate Aviation to invite every Air Cadet in Canada to answer an online survey to provide their thoughts on careers in the aviation industry. This research intends to contribute to strategic plans that will create economic security for women. Link can be found here. Deadline is 24 Mar 19.

Although weather is taken into consideration, there are many that haven't attended since before the cancellations. Cadets will be Struck Off Strength (SOS) if they do not attend, and will have to return their uniform effective immediately. If they wish to continue with the program, there will be an interview with the CO before reactivation. Our quota is based on cadets enrolled which affects the distribution of OPC Tickets for next training year among other factors. Cadets wishing to be excused from the CO's Parade for any medical or other reason will require a phone call to the office, and speaking to an officer. |
