Wednesday 26th September 2018 Just a reminder that this evening a sports night. Dress is appropriate civilian clothes. Cadets are to wear their squadron issued blue shirt or cadet related/course clothing. Cadets may wear sports shirt if you have neither. * Sports Night will happen on the last Wednesday of every month.  REMINDER: Every Cadet is responsible for selling at least ONE book of OPC (Ontario Provincial Committee Air Cadet League) Tickets. If you haven't picked your book up yet, please see one of the Sponsoring Committee Members tonight.
We will also have them available on Friday and Saturday when we are at the Armouries for the WEEKEND Tagging as well! There are incentives to sell more than one book of tickets, however we need everyone to sell ONE book first! We were given 64 books at the beginning of the year. ONE for every cadet in our squadron! Friday: arrive at Armouries NLT 2:45 to START 3:00-7:00 Saturday: AM arrive NTL 8:30 START 9:00 - 5:00 shifts are 9 - 1230 and 130 -5 Lunch will be provided to any cadets wanting to tag all day Saturday! PARENTS WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE FOR DRIVING CADETS! Please hang around after dropping off your cadet if you're able to help us with driving the cadets back and forth for the shifts. We appreciate your help with this. We have the opportunity to sell these beautiful plants for Christmas. They are from our local farmers CC Farms. Fresh planters and wreaths that will last through the Christmas season There is an order forms attached which you can us to keep track of your orders. Please get the money upfront - cheques are payable to "608 Duke of Edinburgh SSC". ALL ORDERS and MONEY MUST be handed in NO LATER THAN 21 November 2018. LATE ORDERS WILL NOT BE FULFILLED. All Deliveries will be at the armories on 28 November 2018 for you to pick up your individual orders. Gliding is still on for the day, but flights won't start until the fog clears up. Flight times will still be partially based on first-come, first-serve and previous flights taken.
