Cadets are to meet at the Quinte Bowl for 1800 hrs (6:00 PM). Bring your $5. Pizza will be provided. Expected to finish at 2030 hrs (8:30 PM). Dress is appropriate civilian clothing.
Detachment has invited us participate in a validation session in which the acting Detachment Commander will present to the mock-up design for a proposed internal communications tool for the Canadian Cadet Organization that has been developed by one of the national working groups.
They are looking for: - one 1st year, - one Jr NCO, and - one Sr NCO (preferably FSgt or above). A parent of each invited cadet are also welcome to join the session and it is highly encouraged and welcomed (just one please per cadet due to room size). Dress is casual, all we ask is that all the participants who have a smart phone device to please bring it with them. Session will take 1 hour and this will be interactive. Proposed date is 26 May (Thursday), at 1830 hrs in the cadet camp on the base, 4 Musketeer behind the duty centre. Depending on size, it may be in the Canteen. Wonderland Information Letter form can be found here. $40 is due no later than Saturday 14 May 16. Squadron Hoodies - Any cadets interest in purchasing a Squadron hoodie will need to do so before Saturday 14 May 16. Annual Ceremonial Review - Saturday 14 May 16. Cadets are to arrive at 10:00 AM in civilian clothing to set-up/practice. Bring money or food for lunch. Cadets are to be in full uniform with tunic at 1:00 PM ready to go. Parade should conclude at 3:30 PM. Vimy/VE Day/Battle of the Atlantic - Sunday 15 May 16. Cadets signed up for the memorial service are to be behind the Belleville Cenotaph on Reid St. at 1:30 PM with tunics. A reception will be held at ANAVETS, Duke of Edinburgh Unit 201, 187 Front St., immediately after the service. Cadets interested in going to Wonderland will need to bring in $40 this upcoming Wednesday, or the morning of our Annual Ceremonial Review at the latest.
