The Battle of Britain (10 Jul to 31 Oct 1940) was the first battle of the Second World War fought mainly in the air. Every year a memorial parade is held in cities and towns across Canada on the third Sunday in September to remember those who fought and sacrificed their lives in this battle. This year marks the 80th anniversary, however due to the COVID-19 outbreak the RCAF will be hosting a virtual national ceremony. MISSION The Natl CJCR Sp Gp will provide information on the Battle of Britain Virtual ceremony to cadets/staff through their CC/Sqns and through social media to enhance awareness of the Virtual Ceremony for the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain on 20 Sep.
