Assembly Belleville Fairgrounds/Racetrack property at the junction of Bridge Street West & Sidney Streets. Parents dropping off young walkers & riders = arrive between 3:30 & 4:00pm. The Quinte Curling Club will be open on parade day as a warming station, with food & beverages will be available for purchase from their concession. (This will be our meeting point). There is a designated drop off zone on SIDNEY ST ONLY. You can park at the old Ben Bleecker site and walk across to the Fairgrounds, or, there will be limited parking on the grounds where parents can enter to drop off children and then exit before the parade begins. The parade leaves the assembly area at 4:30pm heading east on Bridge St. When you enter ANY of the Assembly areas please be VERY explicit with our Marshals as to who you are, ie. walker/rider/decorator/band/parent etc. so we can quickly provide directions. We ask that you be patient with our Volunteers who are handling a huge volume of people. Route The official starting location for spectators will be the corner of Bridge St W & Sidney St, in front of Tim Hortons Floats will move off the Fairgrounds property onto Bridge St W and head east to the junction of Bridge St E and Plaza Square where they will make a right hand turn into The Bayview Mall. End Zone Parents picking up riders at the end zone will park on the east side (Tim Hortons side) of The Bayview Mall and enter the Mall on that side by the convenience store. They will then walk through the Mall to either of the doors on the WEST SIDE to watch for floats to arrive. A float listing will be posted on the doors for reference purposes. The Mall will be open for warmth and some of the businesses will be operating including McDonald’s, Goodies, Tim Hortons and Subway for food and beverages. Retail outlets may also be open. Comments are closed.
