608 Dukes will be Orienteering/Geo-Caching this Saturday!!!!!!!!!

Where: Frink Centre (381 Thrasher Rd.)
North on Hwy 37
Turn right at the Plainfield Children's Home
Cadets are to arrange their own transportation.
There will be staff vehicles and staff cell phones available on site if needed.

When: Saturday, February 9th 2013  1300-15:30

What: This is an OUTDOOR WINTER ACTIVITY
There will be NO ACCESS TO BUILDINGS!!!
There are washroom facilities.

Cadets MUST wear and will be checked for the following:

Winter boots(RUNNING SHOES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE)
Warm socks
snow pants or long underwear under wind pants
long sleeve t-shirt layered under a sweat shirt and/or winter vest
winter parka
winter hat/
mitts
Cadets MUST bring AND will be checked for......

HEALTH CARD
Back-pack containing....
-extra footwear (hiking/winter boots)
(running shoes are NOT ACCEPTABLE)
-extra socks
-extra mitts
-HEALTH CARD
-anything else that will keep you WARM!!!!
-a mug
-water bottle
-choice of Hot Chocolate pkg/cup of soup/cider
-spoon
HEALTH CARD
There will be heated water available for beverages.
Apples will be provided.

Compasses and GPS's will be provided.
Cadets may bring cell phones but must take full responsibility for them.
Other electronics are not necessary.
