There is an opportunity for Central Region cadets participating in certain cadet summer training activities to earn up to two secondary school co-op credits in a program offered through the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB).
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, a cadet must be a registered student at any Ontario Ministry of Education recognized secondary school, must have already completed some secondary school credits (including Career Studies – GLC 20), and must be accepted to one of the following summer training activities at a CTC in Ontario:
HOW IT WORKS: The cadet summer training activity is conducted as normal. To earn credit, cadets must complete some pre-course activities, perform some daily/weekly recording (journaling, log, personal reflections…) and submit a final project/presentation (power point presentation or similar). While some support will be offered, cadets are responsible for these activities which must be completed in their free time. HOW TO APPLY: Space may be limited, and applications will be processed in the order they are received. More detailed information is provided in the below attachment.
