PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT MESSAGES FROM OUR SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE (SSC)!!!

• OPC TICKETS STILL FOR SALE!!!

OPC Tickets are a provincial fundraiser from the Air Cadet League - Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) which helps to support squadron activities, such as, YOUR March Break Trip. (When you sell the book of tickets the cost of your trip will be reduced).

Every Cadet is responsible for selling at least one book of tickets - Each book costs $50.

1. Buy your book upfront for $50.
2. Sell all the tickets - keep the money (getting your $50 back).
   
3. Return the ticket stubs to be entered into the draw and someone you sold your ticket to could win a NEW CAR!

OPC Tickets can be purchased any Wednesday Night from any of the Sponsoring Committee Members. Mrs. Henry will be available at the Armouries at 5:30pm every Wednesday Night throughout the month of January for anyone who wishes to purchase or return their book of tickets early!)

PLEASE NOTE:

1. There are 28 books of tickets available for sale. 
   
2. 35 Cadets have NOT purchased a book yet. 
   
3. Several books of ticket stubs have not been returned.
4. All OPC Tickets must be SOLD and returned by the END of February! 
   
5. Any unsold tickets must be paid for by the squadron (using the money you raised from our Tag Days).
   

• CANTEEN UPDATE!!!

Every training night, the SSC operates a "Canteen" for the cadets to use. The "Canteen" offers snacks, beverages, and sometimes other fundraising items (such as our 608 sport bottles and 608 sport bags) for sale to cadets during their 15 minute break.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. The SSC will be increasing the price of a few traditional items from $1.00 to $1.50.
   
2. The SSC will make an attempt to always have a small selection of fruit (ex. apples, bananas, oranges, etc.) available as well.

It is important to note the "Canteen" helps support the funding of squadron activities, such as, bus trips, pizza nights, extra Field Training supplies, and more.
