IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES

Vimy Ridge/Battle of Atlantic/VE Day commemoration service - Sunday 8th May 2022

To take place at the Belleville Cenotaph at 1400hrs (2:00 pm). Cadets are to arrive no later than 1:30 pm. The service will be approximately 1hr long. The dress will be C1A Ceremonial Dress. This will satisfy PO X02 - Perform Community Service, EO C102.01 Participate in a Ceremonial Parade. Cadets can claim 3 hours Community Service signed by the CO and may be excused by the CO.

67th Annual Ceremonial Review - Wednesday 1st June 2022

Will take place on a regular training night and the final CO's Parade of the training year. Only parents/guardians and special guests of cadets receiving an award will be invited to attend in-person at the Belleville Armouries. The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is the most important event of the training year and is part of Mandatory Training. Cadets must attend this event in order to complete their training level, receive any rank promotion, and participate in summer Cadet Activity Programs (CAP) or Cadet Training Centres (CTC). This event will be live streamed for cadets/parents/guardians/guests through MS Teams and hosted by Sqn staff/cadets. The dress will be C1A. Cadets may attend virtually due to COVID-19 and excused by the CO.  ​

Spring Field Training Exercise - Saturday 11th June 2022

Operation Spring Chicken will be our first in-person Field Training Exercise (FTX) since Fall 2019 and will be a 1-day exercise held at Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area in Picton, ON. Bus(es) will depart the Belleville Armouries at 0900hrs and return at 2030hrs (8:30 pm). Meals will be provided. A parent/guardian information letter and kit list will be distributed prior to the activity. The dress will be the Field Training Uniform (FTU). Cadets may arrive/depart the training site by parents/guardians. ​
